This painting was originally done as a part of a series of work first exhibited in Toronto Canada. The series "Artwork for your bathroom wall; and other intimate spaces" which explores how womxn experience and respond to empathy. The majority of this work was created in a self initiated isolation in order to form a higher sensitivity to the subtleties of intimacy, and in hope to capture empathy in its purist form.
Each piece is meant to feel as if you’re sneaking a glimpse into intimate moments of female relationships in order to evoke a feeling which reaches through as well as out.
